This Seasons Chandelier Lights From BHS

September 13th, 2010 pickpurchase

Think back to the mid noughties when chandeliers were all the rage and BHS was the secret everyone knew about as the one stop shop for the best lighting on the high street. Well after a few years in the wilderness they are back as this sneak peak of their Autumn Winter collection shows. And lets face it who would not want to hang a cluster of these tapered pendants or form a row of these Minnie table lamps. And of course we all love the disco balls new look in the form of a Petal pendant. But if the more subtle tones are more to your style then you will be pleased to hear that the celebrated Libby Lamp by Overend Studios will soon be available. The Libby Lamp that we all loved from last years Tent during London Design Festival will be available from Liberty this August. With its inspiration coming from an early 20th century library lamp we like to think of the Libby Lamp as what Poirot would be stretching his little grey cells under were he sleuthing. It seems that lighting is the in decor this season with another beautiful collection from Cotton and Cable. And being able to use the cable of lights as either a table decoration or clustered together in a vase makes this design one of the most simple yet effective lights we have seen. Westfield mall light design winner Lee Broom has recently revealed his latest designs also and well they are faultless. But we have all fallen for his decanter lamp. The simple but unique design leaves many of us here in the office questioning why they have not been done before. And so just after a first glance at this Autumn and Winter lights it is shaping up to be a sparkling end of the year. If you are still after more inspiration then visit StyleJunkee.
